How can I access SimChart?

Elsevier’s SimChart is an Electronic Health Record (EHR) simulation system designed to help nursing students master electronic documentation and clinical reasoning through practical, real-world scenarios.

Your teacher will provide you with an access code, course ID and instructions for accessing SimChart when you are required to access SimChart.

All TAFE Queensland students completing the Diploma and Bachelor of Nursing Program will be required to access SimChart as part of their study.

SimChart is accessed through Elsevier’s Evolve web site https://evolve.elsevier.com/cs/.

Students need to create an account and search for SimChart. SimChart can be acquired for free with an access code. A teacher then needs to provide a course ID, which will give the students access to the simulation that the teacher has created in SimChart.
