Where can I find the MSDS database?

The MSDS database has been replaced by the Chemwatch database, which still contains material safety data sheets that you can download and print. It also contains information on labelling and chemical risk assessment.

The steps to access Chemwatch are as follows:

1. Go to the TAFE Queensland Library home page - https://library.tafeqld.edu.au/

2. Scroll down and select Databases A-Z - https://library.tafeqld.edu.au/az.php

3. Select ‘C’ from the A-Z selection and choose Chemwatch

4. Note: when logging into the database, you will be asked for a Borrower ID and password.

Borrower ID = studentnumber@tqstudent.edu.au
Password = your Connect/network password
