Where can I find the MSDS database?

The MSDS database has been replaced by the Chemwatch database, which still contains material safety data sheets that you can download and print. It also contains information on labelling and chemical risk assessment.

The steps to access Chemwatch are as follows:

1. Go to the TAFE Queensland Library Network home page - https://library.tafeqld.edu.au/

2. Scroll down and select Click here to access databases

3. Select ‘C’ from the A-Z selection and choose Chemwatch

4. Use the following details if prompted to sign in:

Email = studentnumber@tqstudent.edu.au
Password = your Connect/network password

For staff access, use your TAFE Queensland email address and network password followed by Two-factor authentication code.
