How much can I print or photocopy?

There is a limit to how much copyrighted material you can legally print or photocopy. This is due to the Commonwealth of Australia Copyright Act 1968.

Information outlining the Act can be found near all TAFE Queensland Library Network printers as well as under the warning notice tab here: https://library.tafeqld.edu.au/information_for_students/printing

For students using the information for study purposes you can copy 10% or one chapter of a book. This applies to any type of copyrighted material including books, journals/magazines, eBooks, Connect material and online content.

For more detailed information you can search the Australian Copyright Council website or ask your local TAFE Queensland Library Network campus.
