How do I change or reset my password?
You can reset your password for all your TAFE accounts including PC access by following the steps below:
- Go to this link - https://passwordreset.tafeqld.edu.au/default.aspx
- Enter your nine-digit Student ID. If you are staff enter your network username (e.g. smitha).
- Select the Next button.
- Verify your identity by confirming your Date of Birth (Format: DD-MM-YYYY) and current registered email address.
- You will be sent a verification email to your registered email address with a six-digit security code.
- Continue to verify your identity by entering your security code.
- Select the Next button.
- Choose what you want to do next - Account Unlock or Password Reset.
- If you are resetting your password to something new, enter it twice on this screen to confirm it is correct.
- Select the Next button and wait for a confirmation that the password reset has been successful.
