How do I change or reset my password?

You can reset your password for all your TAFE accounts including PC access by following the steps below:

  1. Go to this link - https://passwordreset.tafeqld.edu.au/default.aspx
  2. Enter your nine-digit Student ID. If you are staff enter your network username (e.g. smitha).
  3. Select the Next button.
  4. Verify your identity by confirming your Date of Birth (Format: DD-MM-YYYY) and current registered email address.
  5. You will be sent a verification email to your registered email address with a six-digit security code.
  6. Continue to verify your identity by entering your security code.
  7. Select the Next button.
  8. Choose what you want to do next - Account Unlock or Password Reset.
  9. If you are resetting your password to something new, enter it twice on this screen to confirm it is correct.
  10. Select the Next button and wait for a confirmation that the password reset has been successful.
